The guys started to reminisce about my previous life’s exploits, tales of my time spent in the trenches at another employer. As we went through the motions, they brought up the sound of my voice over the radio, cutting through the chaos of my adventures. They remembered instances where I was outnumbered but not outmatched, fighting to stay alive and coming out on top. They talked about my arrests, the dangers I faced, and the victories I secured.
